Canadian Red Cross First Aid Training & CPR/AED Level C Training

We invite you to join us for First Aid Training, in partnership with fellow CBOT member Durham First Aid! Please see below for available course options.

Emergency First Aid and CPR/AED Level C training – Half Day
Businesses with 1-5 employees. 
8:30am – 2:30pm
Lunch Included.

Basic First Aid Course for Businesses with 1 – 5 employees. The course offering lifesaving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills. Course meets legislation requirements for Ontario Occupational Health and Safety, Ministry of Labour and WSIB and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

Blended Learning Course means a course which has an online component to be completed before attending the in-person training. Once registered, participants will receive a link to the Red Cross Portal, where you will complete a self-directed online course of 8 modules. The in-person portion of the course will occur from 8:30am - 2:30pm on February 26, 2026.

Certification is valid for 3 years.


Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C training – Full Day
Businesses with 6+ employees. 
8:30am – 4:30pm. 
Lunch Included.

This is a comprehensive course for workplaces with 6+ employees. It offers first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Course meets legislation requirements for Ontario Occupational Health and Safety, Ministry of Labour and WSIB and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.

Blended Learning Course means a course which has an online component to be completed before attending the in-person training. Once registered, participants will receive a link to the Red Cross Portal, where you will complete a self-directed online course of 13 modules. The in-person portion of the course will occur from 8:30am - 2:30pm on February 26, 2026.

Certification is valid for 3 years.


RECERTIFICATION: Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C training – Full Day
Businesses with 6+ employees. 
8:30am – 4:30pm. 
Lunch Included.

This course is for those that qualify for a Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C certification from the Canadian Red Cross. To recertify, your certification you must meet the following criteria:

  1. That the chosen course is before your current card expiry date.
  2. That the last course you took was a full Standard First Aid course, not a recertification (certificate says, “Is Certified in”, not “is recertified in”)
  3. That your current certificate was provided by the Canadian Red Cross.

By taking the 1-day recertification your Standard First Aid and CPR/AED Level C will be valid for another 3 years, meeting legislative requirements for Ontario Occupational Health and Safety, Ministry of Labour and WSIB and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. The in-person portion of the course will occur from 8:30am - 4:30pm on February 26, 2026.
